Overview
Lift Solutions is a PE-backed provider of end-to-end industrial lifting solutions, running its receivables across three separate ERPs with a lean three-person team. Before Stuut, collections was the work that slipped. Reminders did not go out until invoices were 60 days past due, the AR manager was logging 60-hour weeks sending emails by hand, and past-due AR had climbed to roughly 32% of the book. For a business that had recently drawn heavily on working capital, that was unsustainable.
CFO Patrick Mortimer went looking for a solution that could bring consistency across disconnected systems and put AI at the front of the process rather than bolt it on as an afterthought. Stuut went live in 4 weeks across 3 disconnected ERPs, not the six to twelve months the other tools Patrick was evaluating alongside were promising.
With Stuut, customers now pay 11 days faster, with average time to payment down from 42 to 31 days, and past-due falling from roughly 32% to 25% within 3 months. In May 2026 alone, Stuut drove $4.7M in collections across 1,589 invoices and 1,531 customers with no added headcount. Invoices Stuut touched in Sage resolved at 27.3% versus 3.7% for untouched ones, a 7.4x lift, and 61% of touched invoices were paid within 14 days.
That faster, more predictable cash freed the AR manager to actually manage her team and work the high-value overdue accounts, removed the need to train staff on all three ERPs by putting every system behind one portal, and gave AP breathing room. Faster collections let the company reinvest in inventory and CapEx, including a six-figure buildout at a new Bronx storefront.
For the first time, Patrick can see which top accounts are touched and untouched and manage his team against it, trading volatile week-to-week swings for the confidence that cash lands in a predictable $2.9M to $3.5M band every week.
We weren't even reaching out until invoices were 30-60 days past due, and my AR manager was working 60-hour weeks just sending emails. Stuut pulled all three ERPs into one place, and now we get ahead of the cash instead of reacting to it.
